I've come up with this as a multi-use coop suitable for hens with a small covered run for all-year-round protection from predators and weather. It can also be used for rabbits or small dogs as outdoor runs. The roof lifts up, so it makes cleaning out that little bit easier. It can keep up to 4 to 6 hens or 2 rabbits comfortably. Also, I can make adaptations to this model, such as a wooden floor in the coop area, but it can be a wooden floor throughout, as the open area is mesh, or I could even add an extra area at the bottom with pull-out drawers for storage.
